Japan is known as the Land of the Sun Goddess and according to legend, it is believed that its people are her direct descendants. It is a heavenly land of natural beauty where ancient and distinctive traditions and customs are treasured and kept alive amidst a modern society.

From the snow covered top of Mt. Fuji and the emerald green rice paddies covering the hillside, into the mountains and across the old Edo Highway, past the magical castle town of Takayama and on to Kyoto, one of Japan’s many jewels and its old capital, Japan offers an opportunity to step back in time and discover its history of powerful emperors, fearless shoguns and mysterious geishas.

We take you off the beaten path and across the Inland Sea to the island of Noashima, home to some of Japan’s most wonderful museums. On your journey through little known Shikoku, you will meet the faithful pilgrims as they make their way along the 88 temple path and a long trip comes to a wonderful end at the Dogo Onsen in Matsuyama, the famous hot spring often frequented by the Royal Family.

When traveling in Japan, you will be accompanied by our local guide Ms. Jasmine and a private driver throughout. Deluxe accommodations, hotels and ryokans are available in all the major cities.
